YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB.

Mr W. D. Toogood presided over the monthly meeting, last evening, ol the Young Farmers’ Club. In connection with the performances by members of the club at the recent fitness demonstration in Palmerston North, it was reported that Mr C. Holder had been the most successful. Mr Ken. Mitchell voiced congratulations to Mr Colder. The Mangatainoka and Ballance Young Farmers’ Clubs invited members to attend a field day at Pahiatua, and on behalf of the Jersey Breeders’ Club, Mr M. Murray urged a strong representation of W oodville young farmers. The demonstrator would be Mr T. Ranford, of Wiiakarongo. An invitation was also ieceived from the organisers of a young farmers’ camp to he held at Hastings. The annual meeting was fixed to lie held shortly. Members were reminded of the payment of certain subscriptions.
