Present spot quotations are: —Mutton : Fine. good, 21s to 21s 6d; fair, 16s 6d to 17s. Beef: Fnie, —; good, 18s; fair, 16s to 16s 6d. Mixed: Good 18 s; fair, 16s lo 16s 6d: gut, 14s lo 15s 6d. .Mutton, dark to dull, 15s to 16s 6d. Beef, dark to dull, 14s to 15s 6d. Hemp.—Manila: Market quiet awl.easier; “K’ - grade sold Fehrnary-April shipment, £lB. Sisal: Market quiet; N.T. sold. Feb-raury-April shipment, £l6 15s; April-,June shipment. £l6 17s 6d. New Zealand: Offer of “rejected” above buyers’ ideas; quotations nominal.
