FEILDING GALA DAY.

On the'occasion of the gala function at Feilding on Saturday in aid of the Feilding Municipal Band an orchestra from Palmerston North, under the direction of Mr J. R. Wingate, contributed an enjoyable programme of bright and varied music. Travelling

by special bus, the orchestra played during the evening session. The personnel was as follows: Violins, Mrs A. K. Fanner, Air AY. Tnkpen, Air JO. Low; violas, Air A. 10. Farmer, Air J. Broph.v; ’cello, Air AY. Barnett; flute, Air Alildon; clarionet, Mr F. Piper; bassoon, Mr C. Greening; trombone, Air AY. O’Hara; cornets, Messrs Lester and Fleetwood: euphonium, a Feilding bandsman: string bass, Air AA'. Beet; drums and effects, a Feilding artist.
