A POPULAR RESORT. That New Zealanders are becoming more interested each year in seeing round their own country was very evident at Manawatu Hotuls during the holiday season. A census of visitors generally .showed that a great move round took place, travellers from all parts of New Zealand having stayed there for varying periods from late December to mid-January. Sydney and Adelaide were also -(.'presented, as were England and Ireland. From Dargaville in the north, the following places helped to swell the holiday crowd: Auckland, Masterton, Woodville, Levin, Feilding, Taumiirumii, Shannon, Te , Kuiti, Cheltenham, Lower Unit, Bulls, Christchurch, Pahiatua, Martin borough, Wanganui, Sanson, Gore, Hastings," Invercargill, Waiirate, Patea. Te Awamutu, Rotorua, Ashburton, Mukino, Waitara, Greymouth. Nelson, Hunterville, Otorohanga, Tauranga, j Otane, Hirnatangi, Marton, Eketa- i buna, Kltba.m, Hamilton, Kopane, Stanway, Raetahi, Petone, Nikau, Cromwell, Ohakune. Matamata, Aorangi, Linton. Hokitika, Morrinsville, Miramar. Gisborne, Colyton, Auv'.liuri, Napier, New Plymouth, Mangata noka, Timarti.
