OBITUARY.
MRS EDWARD JACKMAN
At the advanced age of 96 years, there passed away yesterday, in Feilding, Mrs Sarah Ann Jackman, relict of Mr Edward Jackman, who for many years was custodian of the Feilding Jockey Club. Mrs Jackman was very well-known, having resided in the Feilding district for 60 years. Born in Chatham, Kent, England, where her marriage took place, Mrs Jackman came to New Zealand in the sailing ship Derrick, anil upon their arrival in the Dominion they took up farming at Awaluiri. Thirty-two years ago Mr and Mrs Jackman removed to Warwick Street, Feilding, where Mrs Jackman had resided ever since. Of a bright and kindly disposition, she enjoyed comparatively good health. Left to mourn her passing arc two sons and two daughters besides 13 grandchildren anil two great-grandchildren. Messrs Edward and Joseph Jackman, of Feilding, are her sons, and Mesdamesj T. Lammas (Feilding) and D. Stevens (Sumner) her daughters;
