FRENCH DIFFERENCES.
ENVOY IN BURGOS? FACTORS INVOLVED. (Times Cables.) LONDON, Jan. 25. The Times Paris correspondent reports that there is a new Cabinet conflict over the question of sending a French diplomatic representative to Burgos. M. Bonnet (Foreign Minister) is known to favour this on the ground that General Franco’s victory seems inevitable and steps must bo taken to protect French interests under the new Spanish regime, adds the correspondent. M. Daladier (Premier) is undecided, but a number of other Ministers have firmly opposed the idea, contending that such a move would in no way benefit French interests now that the Italian hold in Spain is so strong,, hut would merely bring France into further disrepute, the correspondent says. The correspondent states that Senor Del Vayo has departed for Barcelona after requesting France to shelter 150,000 refugees, to which M. Bonnet (Foreign Minister) has not agreed owing to technical and financial difficulties.
'However, it is understood that M. Bonnet iias suggested to Burgos the creation of a neutral zone on the frontier or in Andorra. Nevertheless France is unlikely to keep out destitute women and children.
