RANGITIKEI.
MARTOX, Jan. 2G. AAT’th the passing of Air Peter Alillcr, whose death was reported in the "Standard” last evening, the farming community has lost a great friend. AYhen he first came to the Itangitikei from the AVairarapa as a young man, Mr Miller worked for the late Mr Henry Westland in the Turakina Valley, and not long afterward filled the position of foreman for Mr E. Newman at .Upper Tutaenui, some 30 years ago. Ten years later he acquired the property which he farmed successfully tip to his death. Mrs Miller survives her husband and there are leTt, in addition. Air Eric Aliller (Alarton), Mrs A. G. AA’hite (AVellington). Airs S. R. Divers (Masterton), and Miss Nancy Miller Ohmton).
