COASTAL PROTECTION. Received January 20, 12.40 p.m. WINNIPEG, Jan. 24. Major-General E. Cashton, tlie retiring Chief of the Canadian Army, declares that, in the event of war, no doubt the Canadian coast will he subject to attack, most likely by shipborne aircraft. He appeals to employers to do more to encourage enlistment and military training.
