REBELS SURGE FORWARD.

The Nationalists have been sighted advancing swiftly on all sectors to the city under direct artillery fire. Manresa has boon occupied and Gava completely surrounded. The troops are only three miles from the aerodrome.

Over 100 city residents have been killed in air raids-

Thc. destroyer Greyhound has taken off the women members of the British staffs. The cruiser Devonshire is still standing by to pick up the members of the Consular Corps. The French Embassy is moving out.
