RUSH OF REFUGEES EXPECTED
PARIS, Jan. 24. France is reinforcing the frontier guards in expectation of a stampede of refugees from Barcelona. An exodus of between a million and a half and two million is expected after the tall ot Barcelona, in which there are elements whose entry France regards as undesirable, while not wanting to be inhospitable to those being persecuted Consequently, it is not expected that the frontier will bo hermetically sealed. The alternatives envisaged are the creation of concentration camps or tho reception of a number of refugees aboard ship, after which they would ho conveyed to African territory pending settlement. _ ...
