FOR GOVERNMENT LOANS. An increased demand for Government loans at increased rates was again the main feature of the market on the Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday. The 4 per cent, stock, 1946-49, sold in Auckland at .£'9B 15s, and the 1952-55 maturity at £99. 'Pile market generally showed a somewhat brighter tone.
