RAPID TRANSPORT.
AID TO MARKETING. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 22. A ’plane arrived at Rongotai this afternoon specially chartered to transport one thousand pounds of cherries from Blenheim to Wellington, where they will be transferred to the Auckland afternoon express. Thus within less than 24 hours of being picked the cherries will be on sale in Auckland.
