BOXER SUSPENDED.

CARRIED LEAD SINKERS. NEW YORK. Dec. 20. The New York Boxing Commission has suspended Tommy Loughran, in real life Kid Galahad, and a protege, Matt Raymond, for 60 days, because Raymond fought at Madison Square Garden with lead fishing sinkers in his pants. Raymond, though actually weighing only 11.10 and scarcely a middleweight, beat Henry Cooper (13.13). The purse is forfeited.

Raymond has beaten 30 heavyweights, including Nick Fiorentiuo, 14.11.
