TREATMENT OF RHEUMATISM
BRITISH INVESTIGATION. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Deo. 20. Lord Horder, presiding at the annual meeting of the Empire Rheumatic Council, 6aid that an important development of the council’s work was the undertaking to set up, in co-op-eration with the Admiralty, a research foundation to investigate the causes and best meanp of prevention and treatment of rheumatic disease in the training establishment of the Royal Navy. The task of preparing a report on a system for treatment economically applicable to a large number of sufferers, and even the possibility of its application on a national scale, is actively proceeding.
