A White Paper details plans of a short-circuit South Africa-Australia air route by travelling over the South Polar circle via Adehe Land, making the total Capetown-Sydney journey of 6500 miles in 32£ hours flying tun on the basis of 200 miles per hour. In return for French permission to use Adelie Land., the Government* of Britain Austral l.a and New Zealand S to French ’planes using British South Polar territories.
