NORTHERN CROQUET CLUB.

GALA DAY HELD. The club colours, green and gold, were emphasised in the floral decorations on the tea tables when the Northern Croquet Club held a gala day to conclude its activities until atter Christmas. The flowers had been arranged by Mesdames H. W’ilson and M. J. Lee. At the conclusion of play Mrs T. Simpson presented trophies to tiie successful competitors as follow:- — Angles, Mrs Forsythe; golf, Mrs H. Garner; ladder, Mrs L. Wood; takeoff, Mrs S. Parsons. A vote of thank was accorded Mrs Simpson who generously provided Christmas novelties fpr those present.
