GRAND CONCERT.

The Manawatu branch of the New Zca land Crippled Children’s Society has arranged an excellent programme lor its concert on Wednesday night at the Opera House. Already the local schools have sold tickets to the value of over £2O, and a large audience is expected. The Wanganui Male Choir, with a great, reputation in the River City, will be heard in several numbers. Tho Central School Children’s Choir will give a taste of ; ts quality, and Aliss N. Sutherland, who took the lead in the recent production of “The Belle of New York,” will contribute two solos. Another well-known singer, Mr 1. E. Douds, late of this city, will present two favourite numbers. The support of Alan Loveday, JMew Zealand’s wonder violinist, makes the concert of added interest.. Admission is only 2s and Is, and the higher priced seats may bo reserved at Collinson and Cunninglianie’s, Ltd., at no extra charge.
