CONTROL OF MINES.
FRANCO’S REPORTED PLANS. (Independent Cable Service). Received November 21, 9.10 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 20. Reynolds News says that General Franco is planing to appropriate the Rio Tinto copper and sulphur mines in Southern Spain, in which four million sterling worth of British capital has been invested. The proposal at present is being kept in the background following reports that such action would cause disquiet in financial circles abroad.
