MANAWATU COMPETITIONS. Though it was to have been played during the week-end, the lawn tennis match between North Manawatu and South Manawatu was postponed owing to the unfavourable weather. It is hoped to make suitable arrangements for the fixture next week-end. The Manawatu Association’s competitions were continued under favourable conditions on Saturday afternoon, ] matches held over from the previous Saturday being played TAKARO v. NORTHERN. Gloyn and Miss Moigan (r 8) who finished with five wins cach and no losses. They will play-off to find the ultimate winner.
