EFFECT ON SUEZ CANAI/SHARES Received September 1, 9.0 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 31. Tlie fall in the value of the French franc has resulted in a decline of over £32.000,000 in the capital value of the British Government holdings of the Suez Canal shares in the past year.
