GIFT OF SHRUBS.
FROM TURAKINA HOMESTEAD. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Sept. 1. A gift of trees, shrubs, and plants worth several hundred pounds has been made by Mrs B. P. Lethbridge, of Turakina, to the Wanganui City Council, and tliese have been'translcrred to the Virginia Lake reserve. Mrs Lethbridge’s home was recently destroyed by fire, it will be recalled.
