SILVER COAT SECOND. SYDNEY, Aug. 31. Racing at Ascot to-day, Silver Coat finished second in the Jumpers’ Flat ■ race, which was won by Stratbogie. Darby Munro rode four winners out of the eight races on the card, and McCarten rode two. Five on End. Last March Mr W. R. Kemball sent swcral horses into tho sale-ring in Mclbournc. One of them was North Cape, who was purchased by Mr R. J. Neighbour for 12j guineas. On Saturday North Cape won the Paisley plurdlcs at Williamstown, which was his fifth successive win in hurdle races during the last few weeks. The five races were worth £975 to his owner, so North Capo has returned his purchase price of 12j guineas man/ times over. About 18 months ago North Cape met with a serious - mishap when being added to the list.
