BUNNYTHORPE LADIES.

POPULAR DANCE. The attractively decorated A. and P. Entertainment Hall again formed the background for a popular function, last evening, when the Bunnythorpe ladies’ committee gave a dance. Glowing rose-coloured lights made a charming variation in the decorative scheme. The four ladies of the committee who organised the dance were Mesdames A. Guy, who wore brown floral marocain ; J. B. Armstrong, brown floral marocain; J. Baker, pink and green floral marocain; and L. Butler, white satin with white coatee. They were assisted by the president, Mrs 0. Jackson, who wore beige lace with a scarlet coatee, and the secretary Mrs A. H. Faulkner, who was in black and red floral ninon ; also Mesdames W. P. Martini, lemon and pink floral taffeta ; W. Tomlinson, blue floral silk; H. Hughes, wine net redingote over wine satin ; C. Harris. black lace, and McMillan, black satin. Messrs J. Baker, H. Hughes, , F,. Whitehead and H. Robson, were capable M.C.’s, while Mr A. Guy lent assistance in a general capacity. Old-time and modern dance music was supplied by a professional orchestra, and cards were provided for nondancers.
