The Ashhurst Rifle Club dance, which lias in tho past been voted the social event of the district, is to be held in the Ashhurst Town Hall to-morrow. The trophies won by riflemen during the year are to be presented. An added event this year is a champion waltzing competition which will become an annual event if the entries reach expectations. Miss Beth Parkes will bo present with several pupils and will eivo demonstrations of ballroom dancing.
