MANAWATU CLUB. At the Hokowhitu links, yesterday, the second rounds of the senior, intermediate and junior championships of the Manawatu Ladies’ Golf Club were played, the results being as follow: Seniors.—Mrs L. Speeehley beat Mrs A. E. Ekstedt at the 19th. Miss Inga Seifert beat Miss N. Smillie 3 and 1. Mrs D. V. Stewart beat Mrs G. H. Clark, 1 up. Mrs Gordon Brown beat Mrs L. Cooper, 2 and 1. Intermediate.—Mrs Duncan Cook beat Mrs C. R. Luke, 5 and 4. Mrs C. King beat Mrs H. Murray, 2 and 1. Mrs K. Innes beat Miss R. Barling, 4 and 2. Mrs G. W. Dixon beat Miss K. Garner, 4 and 3.
Juniors.—Mrs T. Pullar beat Mrs IV. A. Jacques, 5 and 4. Mrs R. Hooper beat Mrs L. ,T. Oliver, 2 and I. Miss P. Macdonald beat Mrs S. Goldingliam, 6 and 4. Mrs H. Pringle won by default from Miss H. Belli.
