MIDNIGHT CRASH.
THREE PERSONS INJURED. Per Press Association. CARTERTON, Aug. 29. As the result of a midnight smash at Featherston on Saturday, three persons were admitted to the Greytown Hospital—two in a serious condition. The car in which they were riding left the road and turned over several times. The injured are: DANIEL McILVRIDE. of Trentham, head injuries, condition serious. rovt'E McILVRIDE, his wife, facial J ° injuries and shock; condition fairly
serious. , RICHARD CLEMENS, ol heatheiston, slight injuries. Air Mellvride has regained consciousness and is progressing favourably. The other passengers are not in a dangerous condition.
