DISTRICT RESULTS. Tli© following awards announced at the annual festival of the Wellington Competitions Society, which are of district interest, are additional to those previously published :—Action song, 1215 years, Warwick Humphreys, Otaki, highly commended. Ladies’ folk or national song, Miss D. E. Junker, Pahiatua, highly commended. When the competitions opened on Friday evening, a feature of the programme, apart from the competitive side, was mouth-organ playing by the Palmerston North Harmonica Rascals’ Band, an organisation of 16 young men which had. five representatives in the solo contest judged by Mr P. Schramm.
