PRINTING OFFICES.
PLANS FOR WELLINGTON. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. Aug. 21. New printing offices for the Government are to be erected in Wellington close to the present offices, according to a statement made l>v the Alinlster of Mines (Hon. P. .C. AA'ebb), on bis arrival from AA'ellington. Air AA r ebb said the new offices would cost several hundred thousand pounds. Plans for the new building, on which architects had been working sines the present Government took office would be shown to the House of Renresentatives shortly. Air Webb added that ; t, was impossible to cope with the workin the present building and some of it had to be let out. There were-400 employees in the office, one of the biggest of its kind in New Zealand or Australia.
