FALL FROM BRIDGE. Per Press Association. TAUMARUNUI, Aug. 22. James Campbell Sharp; aged 55, a tablet porter at tlie Taringamotu railway -station, was killed when crossing a railway bridge. He tripped and fell 30ft below, striking an obstructing post with his head. , Two boys crossing the bridge later saw a man’s hat, and then deceased standing in the creek, with his hands to his head. They became frightened and went oh to church at Taumarumii.
