SAD FATALITY.
FALL FROM BRIDGE. Per Press Association. TAUMARUNUI, Aug. 22. James Campbell Sharp; aged 55, a tablet porter at tlie Taringamotu railway -station, was killed when crossing a railway bridge. He tripped and fell 30ft below, striking an obstructing post with his head. , Two boys crossing the bridge later saw a man’s hat, and then deceased standing in the creek, with his hands to his head. They became frightened and went oh to church at Taumarumii. Returning later, tliey reported the matter to their father, who went to the spot and hound deceased lying face feet of water, a chain DcsMirtiisjpii»u£s reside at Dunedin.
