MARTON, July 6. Mr 11. Shields presided at the monthly meeting of the Marton Young Farmers’ Club, when Mr J. A. Harris, at Turakina Valley, gave an address on his visit to England. Arrangements were made for the holding of a field day on Mr A. L. Wheeler’s property. The following school Rngbv football team has been '* chosen to represent South Rangitikei against Ohakune, at Tailiape. on June 16: O’Hanlon (Taihape Country), Glenny (Taihape), Whale (Marton Junction), Holloway (Waipoura), Berryman (Taihape), ‘Stantiall (Marton Junction), Dewhist (Taihape), Forbes (Taihape), Hamer (Marton), Morris (Marton Junction), O’Brien (Utiku), McCullough (Ohingaiti), Reir (Parewanui), Graham (Marton), Haher (Owhalcura). Reserves: Olsen (Taihape), Horton (Taihape), Lloyd (Taihape), Kite (Marton Junction), Ellis (Marton Junction) Warbrick (Parewanui).
