MINERS’ DISPUTE.
Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, July 1. Prospects of a settlement of the coal strike during tin' week-end were mentioned to-night by the Conciliation Commissioner (Mr S.'Ritchiei, who has been in touch with both parties. Negotiations for a settlement were begun yesterday and continued to-day. :
