AUSTRALIAN SHARE MARKET. SYDNEY, July 1. ,'Tho reaction in the New York industrial index caused a substantial selling of base metal shares on ’change to-day. Leading Barriers lost ground. The investment market was cheerful with prices firmer. , MELBOURNE, July 1. On tho Stock Exchange Barriers sold down to-day owing to a slight reaction in New York, but industrials generally maintained a steady tone. Sales included:— Com.
