A meeting of the Sanson women s branch of the National Party was held in the Sanson Hall, when an' enthusiastic gathering of ladies assembled. The meeting was presided over by the president (Airs W. E. Pearce), assisted by the secretary (Mrs L. State). Visitors welcomed were Mrs Williamson (president of the Manawatu women’s ,branch .of the . National Partv) and Miss Cousins• (secretary). Airs Williamson gave an interce.ing talk for which she was accorded a hearty voto of thanks. It was decided to ho d monthly meetings commencing on July 20. Three representatives were: elected to attend the annual meeting of the electoral committee in Feilding.. An interesting afternoon was concluded with the dispensing of afternoon tea. - • • '
