Tlie Linton District Miniature Rifle Club’s teams visited tho local range on Monday evening last, when competition matches wore fired with tho local club. An executive meeting of the Jubilee Committee was held on Thursday evening last, Mr A. Ferguson presiding over a full attendance. The secretary reported progress with the proposed circular to ho sent to all ex-pupils, - and after several suggestions the form and content of the. circular were authorised. The chairman reported progress with the forthcoming Paddy’s market and several recommendations to the committee were made. This function promisee to be .a huge success, ns the committee is sparing no endeavour to make it an outstanding district entertainment. Tho meeting closed with a hearty vote of thanks to Mr and Mrs W. Anderson for the use of their homo for the meeting. '■Safe?
