WORLD WAR NAVAL FEAT.—The Mayor of Dover is shown placing a wreath on the monument erected at Ostend, Belgium, in commemoration of the feat of the British warship, Vindictive, which resulted in the blocking of Ostend harbour, then held by the Germans, 20 years ago. The original bows of the vessel are built into the monument.
