FIXTURES AT SHOWGROUNDS. Keen play should be seen in the meeting of Kia Toa and Massey College, in the continuation of the Manawatu Rugby Union’s inter-club competition, An the Showgrounds . oval to-morrow. Kia Toa have shown they can tighten the game up in their forwards, or open it right out to use their forwards like backs and speed play up in the loose. Massey College, when they last played on the oval, attempted a bright rearguard style of attack, but it was noticeable that the College backs were handling very much belter when a sharp shower of rain had fallon. With the wet ball they ' improved in practically every department of back play, and produced some very interesting movements. Whatever style is adopted tomorrow patrons should get a good return for their money.
