DEATH BY WASP STING.
LONDON, June 12
Fifteen minutes after being stung by a queen wasp a married woman of 56, living at .Friary Island, Old Windsor, died. . ' . : Two wasps flew into the house. The woman took off her shoe and knocked, both to the. floor.’ She thought she had killed them. Eater, crossing the room iii her. bare feet, she trod on one of them. Shortly afterwards she collapsed. A, doctor' said that death was due to poison “from the sting working on tile woman’s, weak heart. He said the sting of a queen wasp was more serious than that of an ordinary wasp. Tlie Coroner said lie had hot heard of a similar ease in his 25 years’ experience.' ’ . ; ■
