ABERDEEN ANGUS.

BREEDERS MEET. , Per Press Association. HASTINGS, June 23. A meeting of the council of the New Zealanrd Aberdeen Angus Breeders’ Association was held this evening in Hastings, Mr L. A. P. Sherriff being in the chair. Mr J. F. Knight (Palmerston North; was appointed judge at the annual sale at Dannevirke.

Prizes of a guinea and half a guinea were allotted for the first and second in the yearling male and female, and two-year heifer classes at the following Shows: Dannevirke, Poverty Bay, Hawke’s Bay, Masterton, Wairoa (Hawke’s Bay), and Manawatu. _ For the Royal Show at Hamilton prizes of two guineas and one guinea -were allotted for the following classes : Yearling bull, yearling heifer, two-year bull, two-year heifer cow with calf at foot or visibly in calf, and aged bull.
