DOMINION’S FINANCES.
ASSURANCE OF CITY FIRMS. Received May 27, 8.5 a.m. LONDON, May 26. An enterprising city firm has circularised its clients giving the gist of a letter from Mr W. J. Jordan (New Zealand High Commissioner), emphasising “that holders of New Zealand securities have no reason to doubt that the finances are capably administered by the Government and it will ‘honour its contractual obligations to the letter.”
