LOAN DOUBTFUL.
FRANCE’S REQUIREMENTS. LONDON, April 21. Though the urgency of France’s need of a rearmament loan is admitted in the city, it is doubtful whether it could be floated successfully at present. A Belgian, loan, floated in December, lias been left with the underwriters, though it is worth only £5,000,000. France would undoubtedly require many times that amount. The figure of £312,000,000 is regarded as out of the question.
