YOUNG AUCKLAND GIRL. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 22. Auckland’s latest swimming prodigy is a 15-year-old girl, Rita Stackpole, winner of the 100 yards senior ladies’ backstroke championship' of Auckland. She broke the New Zealand intermediate girls’ record of lmin. 17 4-ssec. by 3-ssec. The record was held by the Invercargill swimmer. Miss .J. MacDonald, who established it last December and was consequently selected for-the British Empire Games.
