KELVIN GROVE.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) KELVIN GROVE, April 20. There wag a good attendance at the fortnightly euchre and dance held in the hall on Tuesday night. The winners were: Mrs W. Mouldey 1, Mrs G. Walker 2; Mr C. Jensen 1. Mr E. Ilalligan 2. After supper, dancing was field, the music being supliped by Mrs M. J. Ryan, Mr K. Buchanan and N. Nielsen. Points for the next points prize will commence at the next euchre party. Last week, Newbury euchre enthusiasts journeyed to Kelvin Grove to play for The shield, but were unsuccessful. At the annual meeting of the Hall Committee the following officers were re-elect-ed: Messrs D. Buchanan (chairman), If. Mercer (secretary). C. Tunnicliffe (treasurer), K. Jensen (M.C.), G. Walker, J. Radomski and A. Walker. Beceause of the rain which fell late last week the grass is making marvellous growth and the cows are giving more milk again. There is an abundance of mushrooms in this district.
