REPLY TO “BLACK OUT.”

(To the Editor.)

Sir, —Your correspondent “Black Out” has certainly adopted a very apt liom-de-plume. He appears to he black out, and flat out in everything. Hidden as lie is in tho darkness of his nome-de-plume shelter, he fails to show tho light on any municipal track. He even leaves the people in the dark as to where he is referring; to, when he talks with great authority as to dismantling at the coming elections. This attempt at concealment is ludicrous. Let “Black Out” come to light on the public platform and 1 shall accept- the verdict of the electors as to who shall be dismantled, he or I. I am certain the public prefer a man who comes out in the light to the black-outs of society.—l am, etc., W. F. CUTLER. 47 Ada Street, Palmerston North.
