BUSY HOLIDAY PERIOD. Per Press Association. NELSON, April 17. New records were created on Friday by Cook Strait Airways, when 150 passengers were carried on the ’planes flying continuously between Nelson and Wellington from 6.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with frequent services between Wellington and Blenheim. The West Coast service extended to Greymouth only, owing to the flooding of the Hokitika aerodrome. Four ’planes and six pilots were engaged. On Thursday, despite the most adverse weather conditions, Cook Strait Airways carried 50 passengers.
