THROWING OF STONES.
OFFENCE AT RONGOTEA. Charged with throwing a stone at Rongotea on February 18 to the danger of a house occupied by Constable Kennedy, Evern Simmonsen entered a plea of y guilty through Mr A M. Origley, before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court .to-day. Senior-Sergeant Mclntyre stated that stones had been thrown on the constable’s house at 1.10 a.m. and next morning four small stones were found on the lawn. Constable Kennedy interviewed defendant, who had that night been attending a na.rty a short distance awav, and defendant, who was a motor driver and aged 21 had admitted culpability.
