TENNIS CLUB DANCE.

TROPHY PRESENTED. The members of St. Patrick’s Tennis Club held an end-of-season dance on Saturday at the studio of Miss B. Muir. A visiting representative team from the Wellington Catholic Association were the guests of the club, visitors from Wanganui, Feilding, and Levin also being present. The dance arrangements were in the charge of Miss N. Hickey (secretary of the club), and Mr L. A. Smith acted as M.C. The opportunity was taken by Mr P. Barraelough, on behalf of the New Zealand Catholic Lawn Tennis Association, to present to Mr Smith, as club captain; the trophy won by St. Patrick’s in the Manawatu and Wanganui Districts Catholic Association tournament. Mr Smith briefly replied.
