PLUNKET SOCIETY APPEAL.

The Palmerston North branch of the Plunket Society will hold its annual street dav appeal to-morrow, when collectors will bo at work earlv with a good supply of badges. A stall will be held near the Post Office, and members of the committee will be grateful for gifts of cakes, garden produce, jam. etc., which may be left at the Plunket rooms in King Street to-day, or at the stall to-morrow. Gifts of sweet corn and eggs from the country have been reccived.
