FATAL COLLISION

YOUNG MAN KILLED. SMALL CAR OVERTURNS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 20. Jack Edwards, a young mail living in Huia, Road, Day’s Bay, was killed in a motor accident on lli'e Day’s Bay road to-day at 5 p.m. He was the driver of a car in which his wife and infant child and three other adults were passengers from Petone to his' home. Se veral hundred yards from Howard Point the car came into collision with another car approaching it. The vehicle cannoned off this car into another.

The first car struck by Edwards’s Car was pushed over a small bank, while Edwards’s car careered on and overturned. He was killed instantly, while his child was slightly injured. Mrs Edwards and the other passengers in Edwards’s car and in the other cars concerned were not injured. Mr Edwards is believed to be a racing motorist from Australia
