NATIONAL PARTY’S CHOICE. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, March • 19. Mr W. S. Goosman, of Morrinsville. has been selected bv the National Party to contest the Waikato seat. He is a farmer who went to the Waikato in 1917 and for the past 18 yea.rs has combined contracting and farming. At the 1935 election the Labour candidate (Mr R. Coulter) defeated the sitting member (Mr F. Lye) by 700 votes, there being two Other candidates.
