NEW RESTRICTIONS
MARIPOSA’S PASSENGERS DELAYED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 7. A lengthy delay in landing occasioned by the recently-imposed restrictions on passenger ships from Sydney was experienced by 700 passengers aboard the Matson liner, Mariposa, when she arrived at Auckland from Melbourne and Sydney after an excellent Tasman crossing. The vessel arrived in the harbour at 6.20 a.m. anchoring in the stream, where two medical examining officers boarded her. It was 9 o’clock before the passengers could land.
